Meet Ernest Ng! The manager of SURGE innovation. SURGE is one of Nova Scotia’s innovation sandboxes that trains STEM students to devise creative science and technology-based solutions to urgent problems in the world today. Through a range of workshops, multi-week programs, and classes, SURGE offers experiential training in a range of skills desired by startups and other employers. Science doesn’t have to be just traditional research as there are many other opportunities through programs like SURGE, so don’t be afraid to seek these opportunities out! Look forward to interesting conversations about the circumstances in which you would accept and eat an egg from a stranger and being a plant dad.
