Meet Dr. Christine Chambers! The Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Children’s Pain, a Professor in Psychology and Neuroscience, and the Scientific Director of Solutions for Kids in Pain (SKIP). In this episode we chat about SKIP – a national knowledge mobilization network that takes already known knowledge regarding children’s pain and mobilizes it to partners to be able to reach the people who need it. Dr. Chambers is a leading researcher in children’s pain and started the online movement #ItDoesntHaveToHurt that blends science with digital communication to spread knowledge surrounding children’s pain. Look forward to interesting conversations about failure being a part of success, therapeutic touch, and the scientific process of sniffing frogs.
