Meet Dr. Jen Frail-Gauthier! The director of SEASIDE and the Marine Biology Co-op program and an instructor in the department of Biology at Dalhousie University. In this episode we chat about SEASIDE – the Summer Education Science Institute at Dalhousie in Ecology. These intensive and immersive courses provide hands-on experiential learning opportunities to students, allowing for a change from traditional lectures and textbooks. This provides numerous benefits for students including providing an opportunity to gain technical skills and to network with working professionals.
