Meet Dr. Alice Aiken! The Vice President of Research and Innovation at Dalhousie University. In this episode we talk about Dr. Aiken’s unique path through academia, including working in the Military, being a physiotherapist, and co-founding the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research. As the VP of Research and Innovation, Dr. Aiken oversees the research enterprise; this includes helping with Dal innovates – a hub for world-leading research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Aiken’s favourite part of her job is learning about all the areas of research and working with smart people pursing their passions.
